Job Description  

Critical Scoring: Experienced in Onsite/Offshore Model Previous experience in working with Ubunt/Linux systems Experience in defining test automation architecture for existing frameworks and new frameworks Multi year experience in Test Automation Architect or Senior Automation Tester  for selenium Must have experience in Selenium

Job Duties: Experienced in Onsite/Offshore Model Previous experience in working with Ubunt/Linux systems Define test automation architecture for existing frameworks and new frameworks Conduct detailed analysis of the existing Selenium framework and automation methodology Setup the tools (Selenium on Ubuntu (Linux)) and required infrastructure for the automation testing Identify application specific Re-Usable assets Establish test automation process, author guidelines and create metrics and measurement framework Review the existing automation suite and manual test scenarios and identify effort and timelines for updation Conduct Knowledge Transfer and training sessions for the Customer team during the course of the engagement On-the-Job knowledge transfer by working with the functional test team to understand the application Analyze any third party components and controls that are used in 'Luna Control Center' module Customize the test automation framework by incorporating the best practices from AppLabs' framework and methodology Reuse the AppLabs Automation Framework (AAF) of eTAPTM and customize / enhance the framework as per the customer's automation requirement

Skills Required: Minimum of eight years' experience of enterprise level QA automation or Software Development Minimum of four years' experience working with Selenium based automation frameworks Strong background in coding for automation, without reliance on record and playback scripting Strong understanding of Linux and Windows Strong comprehension of an SDLC process Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team oriented environment. Experience in building test framework Experience working with offshore teams Experience developing and scripting from test specifications Experience developing function libraries and product independent scripts Experience in developing test tools to improve productivity of test script development and execution Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (QTP), techniques and methodologies Excellent writing and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skill set with a self-starting attitude, team-player, and flexibility. A fast learner (new system and test equipment applications) and high degree of creativity and initiative is expected Familiarity with issue tracking, testing techniques
