Job Description:

We are seeking a strong developer with proven experience designing and building effective graphical user interfaces.  The developer will work on a product team to build a combination of real-time monitoring and control interfaces for a cloud-scale data management product.  The product is being built from the ground up to manage large numbers of processes and needs new front-end components to visualize and control data flow, flow modeling, capacity and anomalies.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and effective UX developer to implement visual tools and add important value to a new cloud-scale product. 

·       Build software interface components quickly, yet responsibly with solid testing and clear organization. 

·       Implement slick and elegant interfaces, graphs and charts using a combination of Ruby, AJAX, and Java.

 

Experience/ Technical Skills Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Proven delivery of sophisticated user interfaces using responsible programming practices
• Understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms and comfort working with different software languages and technologies
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (in English)

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of modern UI development with technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CoffeeScript, Jasmine, Java, Struts2 MVC, Ruby, AngularJS.
• Graphic design skills
• Demonstrated passion for development such as significant personal (hobby) software projects
