Responsibilities:

Support maintenance and enhancement with ACS Feeder Server

Provide support with the ACS 5.x migration backend database systems used to manage the environment.

Convert backend MySQL to SQL backend

Convert Perl scripts to SQL scripts

 

Skill sets needed:

·         Python Scripting for ACS 5.x (CRUD/REST) Processes

• CRUD - develop shell scripts using the CLI commands that ACS offers to perform create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) operations on ACS objects
• REST - (Representational State Transfer Programming Interface) allows you to manage your

entities such as users, devices and policies on your own management applications and move these

entities into ACS. This way you can define these entities and then use them on your own systems and on ACS.

·         Front-End Building/Creation

• Web/Gui based front end/Dashboard

·         customer facing

·         Logging  with Filter capabilities

§  Instant search w/ single or list based  filtering (similar to grep or grep -f  <list file>)

§  Archive search w/ single or list based  filtering (similar to zgrep or zgrep -f  <list file>)

§  Live stream w/ single or list based  filtering(similar to tail -f | grep -f <list file>)

·         Search capabilities

§  Custom Scripting

·   Standard calls/queries info from database

·   Custom Searches

·         Pull Userid/Group info from ACS (if Possible)

 

·         SQL Database Maintenance and Configuration

• Support Team Tool (portal)

·         Indepth custom search/queries

o    Report Generation and export

o    DB update capabilities

·          Support @work requests manual updates via the script as needed (case by case basis for lists of devices that wont be able to use Devicepro) Note: DevicePro infrastructure standard for network device installations

·         Support @work request component changes in dependency processes (one example would be  state or country name/code  changes or updates updates)
