Job Description
This candidate will provide technical support in the Unix Operations team. They will be supporting 30-35 applications on the company's infrastructure entirely on a Unix platform. They are responsible for handling the application deployment project including: configuration changes, JVM (Java Virtual Machine) tuning, analyzing logs, and troubleshooting tickets. They are responsible to provide technical solutions in a friendly, professional manner.
Job Requirements
4 years of Websphere 6 and 7 administration/ configuration/ installation experience
RedHat Linux 5 administration experience
Shell Scripting experience
Solaris clustering
Experience working on a Unix platform (z/Linux, Red Hat, all flavors of Unix, AIX)
Sun Solaris 9 and 10 administration
Excellent communication and time management skills
Optional Requirements
Migration experience from Websphere 6.1 to 7/8
Solaris 10 administration experience
Experience with Red Hat Linux administration
Shell scripting experience
Solaris clustering experience
