Job Summary:

 

Understand business needs, design and implement application framework. Choose a standard solution for application development, develop application framework and utilities, create functional and technical design documents and communicate to application developers.

 

Prerequisites (Education, Experience, Specialized Knowledge and Skills, Certifications, Licenses, etc.)

 

a)      BS or MS in computer science or mathematics
b)      5 years experience in application framework design and development
c)       3 years experience in C#/.net
d)      3 years experience with SQL
e)      The ability to work well with others
Specialized Knowledge and Skills

 

a)      Windows Server 2003
b)      MS Visual Studio 2008/2010
c)       Web Services – ASP.net, WCF
d)      Oracle 11g
e)      Networking, TCP/IP knowledge
f)       TFS
g)      XML, XSLT
h)      Scripting for Windows Script Host/Batch File
i)        Visio/Rational/Other UML tools
j)        MS Office tools
k)      3-tier architecture
l)        OO design and implementation, and design pattern (GoF)

 

m)    Verbal and written English communication skills

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands
a)                                                       General Work Environment
b)                                                       Noise – normal office conditions
c)                                                       Standing/Lifting – most work is conducted at a desk
d)                                                       Visual – 100% work with computer screens
e)                                                       Stress – slight to moderate depending on release cycles for projects
f)                                     Travel – 2%
