Primary Responsibilities
Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs to be supported by a LMS application and related workflows.
Works closely with the LMS Project Manager, Nexus Program Manager and the Oracle Program and Project Managers to ensure efforts are coordinated
effectively to facilitate central data management, business integration and efficient workflows.
Develops detailed business user requirements, functional specifications, workflow procedures, and data modeling documents.
Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the system.
Understands the role of LMS in the big picture and provides ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.
Responds to questions and influences the client regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems.
Ensures current and accurate application documentation, coordinates and or performs testing of application modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates application training, educational tools and materials.
Build effective relationships with business units to develop a joint vision.
Works together with Consultants and Project Managers to ensure the clients business needs have been met
Must be willing and able to provide post-implementation support to the customer community resolving production related issues.

At a minimum, this position requires a Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent training in an IT Business Analyst position.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of IT Business Analyst experience and excellent knowledge of a companys workflows and processes.
Previous experience in business analysis, software testing, usertraining and user documentation is highly desirable.
Experience with the LMS application including ecommerce functionality is preferred.
Strong organizational, planning, project management, communications,
presentation, facilitation and influencing skills required.

Basic Requirements
BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or other relevant degree and 3 or more years related experience as a
Business Analyst; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Hands on experience integrating or other LMS applications with Oracle is preferred
Functional expertise with the LMS tool with a good knowledge of the technical aspects
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Visio and Word, as well as Excel ad MS Project.
Well developed communication skills, oral and written
Good analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize
