Job Title: PeopleSoft Financial Aide
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 10 Months

Scope of Service:
The objective of this engagement is to assess the current Financial Aid Business Processes using appropriate methods and procedures to determine the extent to which the Business Processes are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome with respect to meeting the Financial Aid requirements for Federal, State and the University. In additions provide the following:
Configure New Packaging Plans for Estimated Awards Benefits: Using an estimated award package will allow the Financial Aid Office to send out award notifications to students much earlier than they have in the past.
Configure the delivered external award process to award departmental scholarships and student financials: Awards can be formatted on a Pre-defined spreadsheet in order to be
systematically uploaded into PeopleSoft without having to manually assign the awards.
Configure Packaging Award for Students State Grants using all required State criteria: Currently the awards amounts are computed at the time the states master file is loaded into the system. The award is based on the number of credits enrolled as well as the students remaining eligibility.
Review and update one term Award: The current one term awarding adjusts the amount of the awards but does not prorate the EFC or adjust the budgets. This is leading to incorrect awards.
Utilized Delivered 3C Process Benefit{s}: increase the use of the delivered 3C process to reduce the number of calls to the office and the number of students standing in line.
