Position : Healthcare BI Architect

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 6 Month Contract

 

Description/Responsibilities

·         Consulting Deliver short consulting engagements related to BI architecture and processes. Such engagements may include helping the client with system architecture, data modeling, ETL design, tool selection, performance optimization, etc.

·         Delivery For new customers, help define and assemble the delivery team both on-site and/or offshore. Stay involved in an oversight role in the initial part of client engagements until the project stabilizes. Provide guidance to the delivery teams as appropriate.

Qualifications/Skills

·         BI Architect with 8+ years' experience in a broad range of BI and Database technologies. Candidate should be an expert Data Modeler.

·         We are not looking for a specific combination of BI tool skills, but an excellent overall technical-architecture level understanding of various BI components. Sample tools include analytics tools (such as Cognos, BO, Microstrategy), ETL tools (such as Informatica, SSIS, Infosphere), and various database technologies.

·         Exposure to more recent BI technologies such as Big Data Analysis, Columnar Databases, Mobile BI, etc. is a plus.

·         Exposure to the Healthcare industry (with Payers and/or Providers) and deep understanding of related data sets such as Claims, Eligibility, Clinical, Lab, Pharmacy, etc. is strongly preferred.

·         Excellent communication skills.
