Role : Oracle Apps DBA

Duration  : 6+ Months

Location : Columbus – Indiana

Exp : 8+

Move the existing Oracle EBS instance from IBM AIX servers to Oracle Linux servers.  Upgrade EBS from 11.5.10 to R12.  Work with the client to determine best R12 architecture (single-tier vs multi-tier, 3^rdparty services/software, ETL tools, etc.).  The client has an Oracle Apps DBA/System Admin, but he has many other duties which will prevent him from being involved during the entire project.

 

Role: Oracle Financials Functional Consultant

Duration  : 6+ Months

Location : Columbus – Indiana

Exp : 8+

Interview process : telephonic and skype

 

 

Assist with upgrade of Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA).  Prepare the client on the new/updated R12 functionality: multi-org, Subledger Accounting, ADI, etc.  Client has only one operating unit, so it should keep the transition simple.  Help improve business processes (especially with Subledger Accounting), since many items are still handled "manually" or outside of EBS.  FYI:  Also, Payroll will be converted from Oracle to Kronos by the middle of the R12 upgrade, so the Payroll JEs will be interfaced differently by our go-live.

 

Role: Oracle Procure-to-Pay Functional Consultant

Duration  : 6+ Months

Location : Columbus – Indiana

Exp : 8+

Assist with upgrade of P2P modules (PO, AP, Inventory).  Inventory is a critical item of concern for this upgrade.  The business is hoping to improve the current business/system processes around inventory, where possible.  PO Receiving is partially handled via an interface with a real-time inventory scanning system (CAT2 software) for several of the inventory organizations.

 

Role :  Order-to-Cash Functional Consultant

Duration  : 6+ Months

Location : Columbus – Indiana

Exp : 8+

Assist with upgrade of O2C modules (OM, AR, Pricing, Shipping).  Pricing is a critical item of concern for this upgrade.  The business is hoping to improve the current business/system processes around pricing, where possible.  The client uses many tools (mainly Excel) to determine and calculate commodity-based prices, before importing them into Oracle.  Shipping is handled via an interface with a real-time inventory scanning system (CAT2 software) for several of the inventory organizations.  Many orders and invoices are processed through custom and 3^rd-party EDI tools.

Duration  : 6+ Months

Location : Columbus – Indiana

Assist with upgrade to R12.  Client has many Discoverer reports, Oracle custom reports, extensions, interfaces, etc. that may need updated with the R12 upgrade.  Many new reports, extensions, and interfaces will also be needed.
