Direct Client Requirement:

Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Trumbull CT

Rate:$50/hr on C2C Max

Requirement: Oracle DBA.
Minimum five years experience in Oracle database administrator function with at least focused on Oracle 10g and 11g RDBMS OLTP and OLAP systems.
Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC). **Version 11g Release 1 RAC is a must to know** good to know 11g Release 2 RAC.
Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including the ability to write advanced queries and packages.
In depth Oracle Database Administration, High Availability and clustering experience
Expert understanding of the Oracle database architecture, database administration and security
Expert in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
Expert in query, index and database IO performance tuning
Experience working with large objects (databases > 500GB) is a huge plus
Good to have consulting skills on application team support for UNIX and Linux scripting
Experience in physical structure and functional capabilities of data bases, data back-up/recovery specifications
Experience managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
Understand the concepts of current hardware systems, RAID and SAN commonly used in fault tolerant production environments
Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
Strong customer service orientation
Strong written and verbal communication skills and good team co-ordination skills required
Strong analytical skills required
Willingness to provide 24x7 support throughout the engagement period
Oracle 10g/11g certification is preferred
Should also have hands on experience with SQL Server and Sybase administration.


Title: Test Lead

Location: Atlanta GA

Duration:12 month

Requirement: Need to have 8+ years of experience in BI/ EDW testing and leading medium to large testing projects Need to have experience working with HP Quality Center (Preferred to have experience on HP QTP tool) Plans and monitors all Testing-related activities for his/her team Creates Test Strategy and provides assistance on prioritization of test work Plans for project specific trainings for the team Participates in requirements reviews/inspections with the Development team Reviews requirements relevant to testability and correctness Prepares high level traceability matrix from Requirements Prepare System Test Plan Review Test Scripts, Test Data and Metrics Assigns Tasks to Test Analyst/Testers Schedule status/review meetings with development. QA team and customer Compiles Test Results and produces Test Summary Report Monitor and Control Defect management activities Coordinate Knowledge Transition activities and Resolves issues/disputes Acts as a single point of contact for customer
