Basic Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Technology, Finance, or a related discipline

3+ years experience in systems and application Quality Assurance testing

3+ years experience working in a Corporate banking/finance environment

Preferred Skills

3+ years of experience supporting QA efforts for the Flexcube application

(Foreign Exchange, General Ledger, Payments, SWIFT, Branch Treasury, Accounting& Role-to-head mapping)

This position will be in International Wholesale Quality Assurance with a focus on supporting the Branch Foundation platform, Flexcube, for International Branches. For this position, we are looking for a mid level Quality Assurance analyst having strong technical and analytical skills with proven experience in International banking applications such as FX, Payments, Swift, DDA/nostros, Finance/GL. The candidate would preferably be located in Charlotte NC and will be responsible for performing manual testing and working closely with technology, business partners and other Quality Assurance teams on a day to day basis.

As a member of the International Flexcube QA team, and in collaboration with other impacted QA leads/team members, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Work and communicate effectively and in close partnership with application development teams to clarify requirements and project documentation.

- Analyze and perform ambiguity reviews of project documentation, use cases and functional specification documents.

- Create test plans, test scenarios, ambiguity and other needed documentation to ensure high quality QA deliverables and accurate projected timelines.

- Perform manual testing in designated environments, create and execute test cases, log defects (including all supporting documentation) and re-test as needed.

- Work and communicate effectively and in conjunction with members of other teams including automation and coordination teams as needed.

- Proactively incorporate new ideas to ensure successful testing efforts in support of the various methodologies used by the development team.

- Effectively escalate complex problems or issues as necessary to meet defined timelines.

- Document all phases of the QA process.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Technology, Finance, or a related discipline

3+ years experience in systems and application Quality Assurance testing

2+ years experience working in a banking/finance environment

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of manual testing concepts and software life cycle process including Waterfall and Agile development methodologies

3+ years hands on experience with QA tools such as Quality Center (Requirements, test plan, test lab, and defect modules)

Knowledge of VersionOne and automation tools such as QTP

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team

Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

2+ years of experience supporting QA efforts for the Flexcube application (Foreign Exchange, General Ledger, Payments, SWIFT, Branch Treasury)

1+ year of experience supporting QA efforts in accounting General Ledger (GL)
