Immediate F2F interviews – candidates MUST be local to Chicago and available to start ASAP.

Job Description:
This new resource will help us on couple of enterprise application integration projects. One is a simple project to build  a simple WebService to accept results and log to a database. Second project will be more complex that will develop a custom web service layer on top on Informatica MDM product.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with business and other development teams to design and develop Java/J2EE web applications using broad spectrum of technologies.
High motivated self-starter who is very good at learning and mastering new technologies on their own without much guidance
Create technical designs and specifications based on business requirements.
Ensure that applications adhere to Application Engineering guidelines, processes and procedures
Ability to work on projects as a sole individual contributor.
Engage third party suppliers on applications support issues

Qualifications:
Experience Required:
Big plus will be integration experience with Informatica MDM using SIF API
Ability to create project plan detailing all phases of development life cycle
Ability to perform end to end development - Design, build and test
Ability to manage defects for a specific project.
Ability to support, review application logs and dive into root cause analysis.
Ability to work and clearly communicate with all project teams.
Minimum 5-8 years of application development work experience
Bachelor's degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience

Technical Skills:
Solid experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging techniques
Solid experience in enterprise level J2EE platforms using J2EE design patterns
Solid experience in SOAP/REST WebService development
Strong SQL knowledge – especially on DB2 preferred
Spring Framework, JMS, DOJO, AJAX, Eclipse, Hibernate, JUnit, Struts
XML/JSON data interchange formats
Subversion
Jboss, Tomcat is required.
