Overview:

Java/J2EE Application Developer position will be part of an Agile software team focused on working closely with clients and other stakeholders. A qualified candidate will work with the Architects, Principal Engineers and the Business Community to identify requirements and develop solutions for telecom inventory and provisioning solutions using industry standard development techniques and technologies. This person will be required to work in an iterative development environment. Candidate will be responsible for solving a wide array of Java and related business problems using the skills described below. The individual will be responsible for software development within the existing network inventory applications as well as development on updated inventory applications and application suites. Additionally, this individual will work with the broader IT team to ensure developed solution implementations conform to quality, performance, and interoperability standards under enterprise guidance. 

Requirements:

 

•        Five or more years overall experience in software development. Three or more years of Java and JEE, with extensive experience developing apps deployed in major vendor application servers (i.e. WebLogic, WebSphere, etc).

•        Spring Framework in a J2EE environment

•        Experience with eclipse or netbeans

•        XSL/XML experience in a web presentation layer. This includes XML transformation technologies.

•        Advanced JavaScript development in a multiple browser environment.

•        Development experience with O/R mapping frameworks and JDBC.

•        JSF, Spring MVC or other MVC web framework.

•        XML parsing and transformation, including web services.

•        Service Oriented and N-tier architectures.

•        Knowledge of high-level IT enterprise systems and systems planning.

•        Familiarity and/or usage of JEE design patterns, GoF, AOP, IoC and OO.

•        Legacy application integration with JEE, including messaging systems integrating with JMS.

•        Experience on high availability, internationalized applications with a large user base.

•        Application integration with 3rd party security frameworks.

•        Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
