Job Description: Lead the analysis requirement, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of complex data storage solutions. Suggest and design next generation of storage architecture for growth and optimization based on company needs and scopes.

 

This will include analyzation of the following:

·         Store system management configuration and optimization

·         Windows, UNIX and Linux system configurations

·         VERITAS volume manager configuration

·         Administration of Vfilers, Snap mirror, operation manager, production manager, provision manager, snap drive, LUN masking, zoning aggregates and flex volumes

 

Work with the following technologies required:

·         VMware

·         Windows

·         Oracle

·         Sun Solaris

·         RH Linux

·         VERITAS Volume Manager

·         File System

·         NIS

·         NFS

·         DNS

·         Solstice disk suite

·         Disk Arrays

·         Cisco MDS LAN Switching

 

Data OnTap software configuration and optimization ( including: thin provisioning, de-duplication, replication, disaster recovery/business continuity)

Resolve technical issues, including troubleshooting of all data storage components.

Analyze and diagnosis issue and problems with blade center server HBA/CAN Configuration.

Assist with SAN, RAID , clustering (VERITAS VCS) technologies.

Project manage, as direct by client.

Accountable for delivery of goals & objectives assigned to team.

Stay current on industry trends, rapidly changing technology and best practice to facilities knowledge sharing with peers and stakeholders; meet with vendors to bring knowledge of new offerings in house.

Architected plan for new and existing storage providing for growth and performance.

Full documentation of existing and new environment, best practice of configuration on storage and other technology referred to in activities above
