Network Engineer

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Duration: 3+ months

Start: IMMEDIATE

 

Summary:

 

• Switch, Router, and firewall installation, setup, and configuration

 

• Hands-on experience and current ability to configure Cisco, Checkpoint, and Juniper hardware

 

• Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN routing protocols and configuration

 

• Firewall rule definition, configuration, and troubleshooting (ACL's, IP and port level communications, understanding of protocol level security issues)

 

• BGP and MPLS architecture, configuration, and setup

 

• LAN/WAN high availability setup and configuration, including redundancy/failover

 

• Ability to document physical and logical network architecture (as-built)
