Job Description: 

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing data for applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge or exposure to standard concepts, practices, and procedures within database management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language and supporting tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of or exposure to a database platform (DB2, MS SQL Server) and SQL language constructs, stored procedures or similar techniques.
• Experience in or substantial exposure to at least 3 of:  requirements gathering, data design, ETL development, data modeling, or decision support systems.
• Exposure to data warehousing design principles and associated data management and delivery requirements.
• Experience in gathering database mapping requirements and creating mapping documents in detail using commercial data modeling software or similar techniques.
• Competent in standard Microsoft tools and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical personnel both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of and participation in project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• More than 3 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience in a complex environment.
• Working knowledge of data requirements gathering and maintaining and publishing data definitions and business rules within a structured environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data solutions and processes delivery to business units in support of company operations or specific business objectives.
• Demonstrated knowledge in data warehousing methods and practices.
