 Oracle DBA

Location:  Woodland Hills, CA   (southern California)

Duration: 6 months contract (with possibility of extension)

WEBEX interview.  

Position Description / Requirements: 

Below is a requirement for Oracle DBA to be based in Woodland Hills.

 

Min. experience of 7+ yr. required

·         Oracle 10G and 11G Database Administration and Management

·         Proven track record in production support, back-up/restore, and upgrade

·         Oracle RAC administration and troubleshooting

·         Basic Unix Shell Scripting experience

·         Oracle Database Tuning and Performance - usage of statspack, AWR, ADDM, ASH and UNIX native commands.

·         Oracle Data Guard Physical Standby configuration, build and support including Data Guard Broker

·         Storage considerations for Oracle Database Performance

·         Oracle backup and recovery configuration and procedures  

·         Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control for environment standardization
