Position:   Senior Java Developer

Location:  Seattle WA

Duration:  12 Months 

Below is the Job Description:

• Java developer to assist in development of the application interfaces using Java/J2EE tools and technologies.
• Design, develop/unit test, support QA and UAT activities and successfully implement java based applications and web services.
• Create and support micro-sites or landing pages.
• Be involved with the planning, testing, and release of feature and functionality enhancements.
• Candidate must be comfortable implementing user interface designs, developing a variety of back-end business applications, and integrating third-party products such as CMS, e-commerce or e-learning applications.
• Adhere to coding standards and continuous integration methodology.
• Maintains open communication and a transparent view into project progress with development team and other stakeholders (PM, Dev Lead, etc.)
• Write code so that it is well documented and re-usable.
• Estimating level of effort for specific development components.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of the business and industry
• Maintains knowledge of the technology industry, tools, and practices.
• Performance Accountability:
  Performance will be measured in the areas of on-time project delivery, quality of work and meeting system requirements.
• Other areas that can positively or negatively affect work success is attendance, ability to work with others and solve problem independently.

Knowledge, Talent & Skills:

• 6+ years programming experience, with 3+ years in required skill set
• 4 Year degree in computer/software field from an US accredited college/University
• Java 5.0
• Struts 2
• Tiles
• CSS
• JSP
• HTML
• Spring
• JDBC
• Tomcat
• Java Certification
