Job Title: Security Infrastructure Architect
Duration: 3+ Months
Location:Bloomington/Peoria, IL, US
seeking a highly experienced individual with a background supporting the secure management of networks in large enterprises. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with design and suppport of data networks. Previous experience supporting/managing network firewall technologies, user authentication and general network security is required. The person selected for this position will work directly on establishing the corporate guidelines and directions for IT security that will accompany application roll-out to production. The earliest of these roll-outs is not scheduled until 2014 but it will encompass security for mobile devices (ie. Iphones, droids, etc. ipads, and other portable devices).
Required Skills includes:
1. Significant experience in the support of the following Internet edge devices and related services: Proxies, Firewalls, VPN's, and Remote Access Solutions
2. Significant experience with Security Infrastructure Domains, specifically Perimeter Security, Remote Access, Network Security, Access Control, Data Security, and End Point Security
3. Significant knowledge of user onboarding process, techniques, and technology
4. In depth knowledge of access management principles
5. Minimum of 5 years of experience of general security knowledge
6. Significant experience in user and device authentication techniques and technology.
7. Significant knowledge of Enterprise Architecture concepts and best practices
Desired Skills includes:
1. Experience with:
A. Large scale IPS protecting network borders and/or mainframe environments (IBM/Unix/Linux)
B. A structured project methodology - Skill can be learned
C. Service support based on ITIL principles - Skill can be learned
D. Unix Operating Systems
E. Setting up and Supporting VPN's
F. Supporting a CITRIX environment
G. Familiarity with the GOOD for the Enterprise application - Skill can be learned
H. Familiarity with various mobile platforms (Android, Blackberry, iOS, Windows Phone 7) and how applications authenticate
2. Demonstrated problem resolution and decision making experience
3. Demonstrated security/network knowledge thru technical certifications (Security+, SANS GSEC, CISSP, etc.)
4. Remote Access Authorization and Authentication
5. Encryption and Key Management
6. Experience in large, complex, data center environments
