Title: Sr Java Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ months (Long term)
Interview Process: Skype Interview + Test
Technology specifics:
· Core Java
· Frameworks: Spring (Primary), Hibernate (Good to have, primarily used for cache management)
· JMS
· ESB
· JPDL (JBoss Workflow Engine)
· Mule
· XML, XSD
· Strong Sr. Middle tier developers. Not front end. (So no JSP, Flex, TIBCO etc. – Core Java development required)
Unit testing:
· JUnit, JMockit
Soft skills:
· Good English communication skills
· Independent worker
Some Java concepts to screen for:
· Java Exceptions
· Exception handling
· Thread safety in a Highly threaded application environment.
· Collection
· Generics
· Singletons
· Ability to Not use tools such as TIBCO, really CORE Java
· Making actual API calls to other applications.
· Previous experience with large telecoms is not important, unless it is in prepaid domain.
· Experience with prepaid Gift card systems may also work. – Only a good to have.
