Req SSRS-SSIS-SSAS Developer/Lead

We have positions for our client.

 

BI Lead/Solution Developer

 

Work Location:Honolulu , Hawaii

Duration: 1 year

 

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs) :5+ years

 

Technical/Functional Skills :

•Must have strong knowledge on the following skills on SQL Server BI

o  SSRS

o  SSIS

o SSAS

o SQL Server DB

o MDX

o Exposure to Dot Net

 

•Should have experience in BI analytics, with a focus on business needs and underlying analysis dimensions, aggregated measures, and dimension-specific measure sets.

•Desired to have exposure and hands-on use of Informatica tools (including at a minimum Analyst and Power Center), with specific experience in reference data management, ETL processes, and designing for code reusability.

•Skilled in determining the best ways to transform/load airline-specific type of data, data model, data profiling structures that will handle complex airline-specific entities, and analytical cubes.

 

Experience Required5+ years

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

•Responsible for preparing technical designs and documentation, and overseeing development of offshore solutions.

 

•Deepen coordination with IT/Business stakeholders to ensure that requirements gathered reflect maturing business needs as well being sufficiently detailed to drive efficient development activity.

 

•Responsible for the design of SSIS to ETL conversion and identify and research tools to simplify the transformation.

 

•Responsible for directing the team to determine when and how to re-factor the existing application code to improve stability and increase manageability for future releases.

 

•Participate in technical code Review / Code walkthrough discussions and suggest best practices.

 

•Responsible for designing and implementing specific proof of concepts/components as and when required.

 

Generic Managerial Skills:•This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work, change directions quickly, manage geographically dispersed resources and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

•Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design and programming techniques.

 

•Should have excellent communication skills and continuously work with senior managers, come up with new strategies and speedy implementations of tactical solutions.

 

•Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.
