Sharepoint Consultant
Location: Denver, CO / Portland, OR
Duration: 6+ Months

• Minimum 7 years work experience with 2 years as senior software developer/lead developer and 2 years of hands-on experience in developing custom SharePoint 2007/2010 solutions.
• Deep knowledge of and experience with Microsoft technologies and development platforms including Visual C# and .NET is absolutely essential.
• Knowledge of and experience with MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010 technologies, specifications, architecture, and security services is desired. Knowledge of the administration, configuration and customization of SharePoint 2010.
• Hands on experience developing custom web parts, application pages, workflows, including content indexing, personalization, restricting access. Familiarity with identity federation, claims-based authentication, custom login providers.
• Solid understanding and production experience with SharePoint 2010 with a strong technology focus on business productivity applications using Microsoft Office 2007/2010 and related technologies.
• Experience in the implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools (forums/issues lists. etc.) and ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools.
• Familiarity with AD FS, AD RMS, and FAST Search for SharePoint would be a plus.
• Strong application security experience with PKI infrastructure including asymmetric and symmetric encryption, security certificates, tokens, and SSL.
• Knowledge of and experience with Identity Management, Federated Identity Management, and Web Single Sign-On (Web SSO) is desirable. Familiarity with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a plus.
• Knowledge of and experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience designing multi-tier, highly available, multi-threaded, scalable architectures for large-scale web-based services. Familiarity with hardware architectures for large-scale web infrastructures including clustering, high-availability, fault tolerance, etc.
• Demonstrated application of architectures and designs that employ design patterns.
• Strong OO knowledge and design skills. Strong architectural and design skills and the ability to formulate a solution from business requirements.
• Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus-building skills
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project planning (including level of effort estimation, planning and prioritization of projects) and project management skills required.
