Lead .Net Developer

Position: Lead .Net Developer
Location: Las Vegas
Duration: 9+ Months

Please list years experience with:

• C# .NET programming
• ASP.NET programming
• T-SQL
• 3-tier architecture
• Leading a team of software engineers

Duties:

·         Will lead a team of software engineering staff in the development of a Justice Public Safety solution for multi-agency interaction of a system that will be used for receiving, storing and retrieval of data related to wanted vehicles (stolen, lost, towed, etc). The number of users of the system will be in the 1,000+ range. The documentation of the solution is also expected.

·         Demonstrates proficiencies in C#.

·         Demonstrates the proficiencies of ASP .net and web-based rich-clients (JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, etc.)

·         Demonstrates leadership of a team of software engineers

·         Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Demonstrates the ability to architect new systems and understand the architecture of existing systems.

·         Familiarly with MS SQL Server databases.

·         Creates new or modifies existing programs.

·         Plans and develops test data to validate new or modified programs; designs input and output forms and documents.

·         Troubleshoots software problems as needed, for customers, other agencies and information systems personnel.

·         Test and evaluates alternative solutions and recommend and implement appropriate applications design.

·         Maintains and communicate accurate status of work performed. Interviews functional and technical staff to gather documentation required for analysis of current system architecture and application requirements.

·         Provides leadership for the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development team.

Special Skills:

• Expert level experience in C# .NET programming required.
• Expert level experience in C# ASP .net programming required.
• Good experience in T-SQL required.
• Good experience in 3-tier architecture required.
• Good experience in leading a team of software engineers required.
• Good experience in design and generation of client-rich robust high performance web-based front ends required.
• Good experience in design and generation of high performance middle-tiers required.

Good experience in design and generation of high performance SQL server database tier required.

Preferred Skills:

• Must be willing to understand and digest the code and architecture of a simple SharePoint 2010 front-end system with the assistance of SharePoint engineers

Must be willing to understand and digest the code and architecture of a simple BizTalk 2010 system with the assistance of BizTalk engineers
