"Candidate should have knowledge of full system life cycles. Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools are required. Automated or manual testing experience in the web and client server environments. Has experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, use cases. Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting also required.Responsibilities for this position include: Recent experience with Mercury test tools including, functionality of TestDirector (7.2) and coding automated test scripts in Winrunner (7.01), and the interface between the two tools. Development background needed, also knowledge of test methodology with experience in automating Web based applications.
Responsibilities: To provide technical support for both TestDirector and Winrunner,maintenance on existing automated scripts, programming of new test scripts within pre-established standards, in Winrunner, based on test case design supplied by the Test Analyst. Assist in setting up automation to identify and generate data for web based applications. Mentor and training full-time test analyst to become familiar with execution of automated scripts through TestDirector and make suggestions for process improvement.
