Senior SQL DBA

Duration : Long term

Location: Redmond, WA.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

*         Provide primary support for the Enterprise DataWarehouse Data SQL

Server systems and associated ETL processes

 

*         Troubleshoot incidents and take ownership of resolution processes

 

*         Drive feedback into the development teams to improve application

efficiencies, and reduced support incidents

 

*         Work well independently, and with stakeholders across diverse

partner groups

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

*         5+ years experience as SQL Server DBA (at least 3 years with SQLServer 2008+)

 

*         6+ years experience with Windows Server administration, network

communications, authentication, and administration automation techniques

 

*         Strong TSQL coding skills.  Able to author, debug and maintain

complex queries and stored procedures

 

*         2+ years experience with  schema design and index performance

tuning

 

*         Proficient in Business Intelligence Tools (SSAS, SSRS)

 

*         Strong in self-direction, problem solving, critical thinking and

troubleshooting skills
