Job responsibilities:

 

·         Design, development of .Net / Silverlight 4.0 based application

·         New development, enhancements as well as 2nd level support as needed

·         Be independent, should be able to get the knowledge transferred by working closely with customer teams and onshore team

·         Strong technical hands-on skills, good analytical and problem solving abilities

 

Expected technical skills:

 

·         Experience of creating Silverlight UI in XAML

·         Proficiency in Silver Light 4.0/3.0, C#(4.0/3.0/2.0) with MS SQL Server and / or Oracle 10g / 9i database

·         Good exposure to MSSQL / Oracle, should have experience in writing basic PL / SQL

·         Know-how of IIS and SSRS Reporting

·         Familiarity with XML Web Services (SOAP, WSDL and UDDI), Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] concepts using .NET Framework would be nice to have

·         Experience of working with PRISM and MVVM design patterns for Silverlight and WPF would be an added advantage
