Role: Portlet Developer

Start Date: Immediate

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 months+

6+  years of Relevant industry experience

 

Responsibility –

 

1.      Role is primarily to own and be responsible for development activities (planning, execution) of Portlets.

2.      Coordinate with other team members at offshore and onsite for Development and other tasks.

3.      Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time.

4.      Excellent understanding of Web 2.0/ Web applications.

5.      Should be a quick learner and self-starter.

6.      Proactively create reusable code.

7.      Adhere and Review Code Quality.

8.      Create Documentation.

9.      Experience on working with the dual shore model will be a plus.

10.  Excellent communication skills.

11.  Prior Cisco experience is good to have.

1.      Expertise in Portlet Development (Portlet 2.0) 2.      Liferay 3.      Spring 3 4.      Spring Portlet MVC 5.      Hibernate 6.      Oracle PL/SQL 7.      JQuery 8.      Dojo 9.      CSS3 10.  AJAX 11.  XML 12.  HTML5. 13.  J2EE 14.  Tomcat 15.  Hudson (good to have) 16.  Maven (good to have) 17.  Subversion & CVS 18.  Eclipse 19.  Web Services 20.  REST Services 21.  JSON 22.  JSR286 23.  JavaScript 24.  API Documentation 25.  Advanced SQL and database concepts 26.  Working  experience  in performance  tuning 27.  Ability to solve complex problems	1.      Firebug, Jslnt, YSlow web develop tools 2.      WSRP Portlet Development 3.      WebSphere Application and Portal Server 4.      JTest 5.      Selenium 6.      Rally 7.      Prior Cisco Experience
Good verbal and written communication skills	onshore/offshore experience
