Position: Operations Project/Program Manager                   

Location: San Jose, CA

Years of Experience: 10+ yrs

 

Pre-requisites :

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Candidate should have strong background on Ops

- Direct and Manage Projects/Programs from inception to implementation

- Define project/program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

- Develop full-scale strategic plans and associated communications documents

- Effectively communicate expectations to associated stakeholders

- Identify the resources and participants needed to achieve project/program goals

- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate resource requests if necessary during program cycle

- Identify and manage dependencies and critical path

- Plan and track schedule and milestones using appropriate tools

- Develop effective progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations

- Define program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the life cycle

- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the program

- Develop best practices and tools for effective execution and management

 

Required Skills:

 

- PMP Certification is a plus

- Excellent Analytical and Presentation skills

- Exceptional oral and written Communication

- Leadership qualities, ability to carry out the tasks independently and drive the other team members

- Cisco experience (desirable)

 

Personal Skills:

 

- Can do personality/attitude

- High Energy and Motivation

 

 

*Work experience & skills (Mandatory)

Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills)	Desirable
- Excellent understanding metrics and business analysis , program/project implementations - Versatile PM level skills for effectively driving the deliverables as per projected roadmap - Strong Project Management dynamics overall
Written and verbal communication skills Cisco experience
