Position:  Direct Client - Senior SQL Server Developer

Location: Long Island, NY

Duration: 3 Years

Start: Immediate

Interview:  Direct 1 round of Face to Face Interview.  There is no phone or skype interview.

 

 The successful candidate is a team player that has at least 5 years experience designing and developing Transact-SQL code for Microsoft SQL server. Candidates with Microsoft's MCTS Certification in Database Development (Exam code# 72-433) are desired. All candidates need to be proficient in all aspects of SQL Server functionality.

Microsoft's MCTS Certification in Database Development (Exam code# 72-433) is a big plus for this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Very strong hands-on T-SQL programming/coding experience.  Expert in database designing, creating databases, index, views, writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning and other T-SQL programming related responsibilities

·        Database Maintenance and Recovery,

·       Data Base Modeling,

·       ETL Design and Development,

·       Transact-SQL Performance Optimization,

·       Security,

·       Report Server,

·       Full Text Search

 

 Candidates will be expected to successfully complete a comprehensive exam regarding the usage of Transact-SQL. The exam is given using paper and pencil no reference material is permitted.
