Job Title: Senior ETL Informatica Developer and Designer

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN

Billing Rate:   $50-55/hr on C2C

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs)   :          

• Over 5+ Years  of  experience in ETL development  and design with BI background

 

Technical/Functional Skills :          

• Collecting requirements from Customer
• Conduct initial analysis of the requirements
• Knowledge in  Oracle database and PL/SQL is  mandatory
• Knowledge in Unix commands and shell script is mandatory
• Creating quality guidelines and checklists
• Create and review ETL design and provide approval
• Create and review ETL test strategy
• Create and review Informatica ETL Maps
• Create and review SQL procedures and queries
• Evaluate process and data load performance test results
• Conducting process and performance improvement exercise
• Imparting Knowledge Transition to other team mates

 

Experience Required                       

• Over 5+ Years of experience in Informatica 8.x  Design & development and strong technical knowledge in ETL tool , Database design and BI concepts.
• Knowledge in Life Science /Parma preferred 

 

Roles & Responsibilities        :          

·         Conduct session with  business and create/finalize the requirements

·          Coordinate with business and  other support  team to understand requirements and create system design

·         Coordinate with offshore team on development, unit testing   and track all the project tasks

·         Review deliverables like code, documents, unit testing strategy, migration procedures etc.

• Getting sign-offs from the client for design and Requirements.

·         Coordinate with offshore team to close defects raised during system testing

·         Coordinate with other technical support groups e.g. Connect with DBA to create/change required database components

·         Escalate scope creep to Project Manager

·         Co-ordinate with offshore team to support stabilization period

·          

Generic Managerial Skills:  

• Able to plan/track tasks/activities
• Report progress/challenges to Project Manager

Education: Graduate
