Job Title / Role:               JAVA Architect

 Location:                          Bloomington, Illinois,

Required Experience:        8+ Years of experience

 

Requirement Overview:

 Required Java technical architect with demonstrated experience in successfully delivering information technology business solution for small to large scale applications across multiple hardware and software platforms using Java/J2EE related technologies.

                    

Skills / Qualifications:       

ü  Should have worked on multiple technologies

ü  Prior experience on being an architect in designing and developing high performance, high availability, efficient and scalable systems

ü  Strong knowledge on Object-Oriented Design (OOD) concepts and Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

ü  Strong knowledge and able to implement J2EE design patterns that improve existing and new applications

ü  Strong knowledge on Java, JSP, Servlets, JSF, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow, Web Programming Skills, XML, Apache Common Logging,  STS, Maven, Mule and Junit testing

ü   Should have experience on MVC Framework

ü  Should have strong knowledge on database concepts

ü  Strong knowledge on Service Oriented Architecture

ü  Ability to multi-task in changing environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines

ü  Ability to interact and work with other interfacing teams

Job Responsibilities:

ü  Architect, design, develop, integrate and maintain new and existing Java/J2EE application that delivers content and services using Spring MVC framework

ü  Participate and ensure end-to-end development and integration of new features with other systems using web services

ü  Implement J2EE design patterns that improve existing and new applications

ü  Understanding the existing architecture of the system

ü  Guiding the team members in the below technologies Java, JSP, Servlets, JSF, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Web Programming Skills, XML, Apache Common Logging, STS, Maven, Mule

ü  Interpret business requirements and accurately reflect these requirements in the designPresent design solutions to other technical teams\

 

ü  Design to performance requirements in an effort to ensure that all applications are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic

 

ü  Anticipate and resolve technical problems and solve difficult challenges

 

ü  Technical guidance to other members in the team. Technical Co-ordination with the offshore team
