Location : Columbus Ohio
Duration : 6+ months
They also must be able to skype and or go into a location for a pre-screen and interview if selected.
Skills Required:
· 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server
- 5+ years Microsoft Windows Server
- Management Studio and Visual Studio Team Edition
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services environment
- Database Design and SQL Development
- Experience in Service Broker, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
· Experience in Installing and Configuring Clustered SQL Servers
Prioritizes, scopes, estimates, and manages the team(s) responsible for the data base administration or data administration. Ensures security event logs are maintained. Ensures all productions changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines. Maintains effective working relationship with application development and production support managers. Includes people management responsibilities as well as team budget responsibilities. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. This individual may lead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects.

As a SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for leveraging your database management skills to improve efficiencies within the Webops DBA group. As a member of the Webops DBA group, you will be expected to provide professional and quality service to our customers. The scope of responsibilities will include on-call production support, establishing and executing best practices, fulfilling database related requirements through project work, and providing leadership and mentoring to junior members on the team.
Job Qualifications:
· Thorough understanding of SQL Server 2008 R2 administration
- Understanding of Disaster Recovery Scenarios and Performance and Tuning
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
