Skills Required and Job Description:

Must-haves - You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Cognos 8.4 and Cognos 10.1 tools, including but not limited to: Framework Manager must know how to create relational models using best practices; DMR experience is a plus   o Report Studio this includes creating new reports, maintaining existing reports and troubleshooting performance and design-related issues   o Transformer create new models and cubes using a variety of data sources available in Cognos 8.4 and Cognos 10.1   o Metric Studio and Event Studio experience a plus Strong SQL skills are required for development of custom SQL and reporting views Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail are essential Basic mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback to end-users not familiar with Cognos
