.NET Architect

Location: Monterey, CA

Long term

 

Required Skills:

·         10+ years of experience developing high-performance web applications based on the Microsoft technology stack, with at least three years at the developer level.

·         At least 5 years architect experience with a proven track record architecting complex solutions using .NET (up to 3.5), ASP.NET, MSSQL, Oracle, and SOA (.NET Web Services).

·         MCA (Microsoft Certified Architect) preferred, minimum of MCPD certified

·         Knowledge in understanding relational database models and developing complex database schemas and queries using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

·         Working experience in architecting/developing SOA (.NET Web Services)

·         Hands on experience in Microsoft Visual Studio Team System / Team Foundation Server and related add-ons for more efficient development and management visibility.  Be able to demonstrate the use of best practices.

·         Development experience in

o        Programming languages:  C#, ASP.NET (up to 3.5), and SQL.

o        UI/UX technologies:  XHTML, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Silverlight, and WPF.

o        XML related concepts:  Schemas, XML, XSLT, and XPATH.

o        Other Microsoft Platforms:  WCF, and WF.

·         Experience in implementing Microsoft Active Directory based authentication, role based authentication and its use in a SSO environment.

·         Ability to consult with clients and project teams on .NET Solutions application business requirements analysis, project scope, and effort estimations.

·         Experience architecting, installing and configuring .NET solutions in a lead role

·         Proven and demonstrable  track record working on a high volume or high profile websites

·         At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint and at least a year in SharePoint 2010.

·         Experience in working with Rules Engines and Rating Engines.

·         Sound understanding and knowledge of Corporate Networks, Firewalls, Security (Any certificate on corporate security is preferred)

·         Insurance industry experience is desired
