Position : WebSphere Release Management

Duration : 6+ Months

Location : Aliso Viejo, CA

Description: This resource will work with the Websphere team to implement and support various Websphere environments. They will own release management across environments as well.

Must have:

• Experience with IBM HTTP server, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Application server, Web Content Management (WCM) & DB2 database.
• Installation/configuration and tuning of JVM's from an infrastructure configuration perspective
• Experience with designing systems for high availability (HA), Scalability and configuration of virtual portals in a clustered environment
• Experience with integrating WebSphere Member Manager with Active Directory/LDAP and/or custom back-end data stores
• Experience with setting up portal credential vaults
• Hands on experience with build automation tools Maven/Ant, Jacl, Jython, Team city, Scripted WAS and portal admin tools such as WSAdmin, XMLAccess etc.
• Experience with operational and monitoring tools such as nagios or similar.
• Experience with setting up logic and physical instances of DB2 including indexing, tuning etc
• Perform deployments using "scripted was" tools with knowledge of automation through python.

Soft skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior stakeholders and facilitate conversations/decisions.
• Ability to plan work independently and communicate risks/issues with meeting the plan.
