Must have great communications skills; ability to work alone with little guidance or supervision. We need someone with a very strong networking background that has the Cisco firewall/switches background and maybe Cisco certifications.
Security Systems Analyst
Skills and years of experience desired in order of importance: Experience with network infrastructure (3+ years); General knowledge and understanding of information security concepts and best practices; BS degree or equivalent experience; Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco Switches; Experience with modern op sys Must pass background check and drug screening; Extensive travel required Desired/nice to have skills: Cisco Secure ACS (Access Control Server) ; Virtual Servers Experience with information security regulation as it applies to the energy and utility industry Industry certification (CCSP, CCIE, CCNP, CISSP) Job Description: Provide support for the implementation of the Generation Cyber Security Projects working with network and security engineers to implement pre-designed system architectures consisting of Cisco firewalls and associated networking equipment. Additional projects may include inventory of plant computer equipment, installation/configuration of firewalls and switches. Implementations will take place at generation plant locations.
