REQUIRED SKILL:

Selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and resolving technical problems related to Oracle software systems.

Should have in depth of Oracle databases 10g, 11g as DBA.

Expert level skills on Oracle Application DBA on versions 11i and R12.

 

Should have expert level knowledge on

o Install, configure

o Backup and recovery

o Performance tuning

o RAC database

o Troubleshooting

Expert level knowledge of ASM

Knowledge of Exadata

Expert level knowledge of standby database, dataguard implemention

Skills on disaster recovery

Skills on Fusion Middle Ware

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Candidate should be capable of working in highly stressful situations, capable of original thinking and teamwork. T

Technical knowledge, quality of work, high motivation, and good interpersonal/cross disciplinary trouble shooting skills are the key for success in this role and position.

Candidate should have strong inter-personal and communication skills and be capable of working with Oracle customers. Candidate should be highly skilled in administering Oracle applications and databases on UNIX/Linux environments in both a single tier and multi-tier architecture.

 

JOB SCOPE:

The ideal candidate would also have strong written and documentation skills. Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX commands/utilities is necessary. For example, understands job control, soft and hard links, distinctions between the kernel and the shell, etc.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Sound knowledge of shell scripting is a big plus.

Previous background: Minimum 7years of Database Administration experience and hands on experience of Oracle EBSO Applications.
