Location:- Hingham, MA

Duration:- 6 month

 Face to Face required

Job description:

Seeking a Database Developer to join a rapidly growing company! Our client  creates  web based solutions for the K-12 market that simplify data management in the school systems.    You will be performing data conversion tasks:  migration,  mapping and extracting data. 

 

 

Required Skills:

SQL queries, stored procedures (80% of daily tasks)

 Java SE programming experience (20% of daily tasks)

 Experience with migrating data from one schema/format to another (i.e., ETL experience)

Experience with at least two of the following databases (in order of priority): MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, FoxPro

Ability to work independently on multiple conversion projects at the same time

Ability to communicate project status with project manager and school district personnel on weekly calls
