Job D:escription:

-      Maintenance and monitoring of existing SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 databases

-      Manages all activities related to the administration of SQL Instances, SQL Server Replication, SQL Server Integration Services, log shipping and databases.

-      Install and configure SQL Server instances and/or databases.

-      Provides operational support for instance and database security, data inquiries, and traces.

-      Provides technical support and guidance in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of SQL Server instance, database, SQL Server Replication, and data warehouse build problems.

-      Provides technical support and guidance in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of ETL processes and data sync problems.

 

Required Experience:

-      At least 5 years working experience in MS SQL database administration

-      Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server  2005 or higher

-      Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Replication

-      Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services

-      Advanced knowledge of SQL Server log shipping

-      Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems

-      Advanced Knowledge of ETL and Data warehouse processes

 

Education:

-      Bachelors Degree in CIS/Computer Science
