JOB TITLE: Sr SQL Server Tech Lead

LOCATION: Lexington,MA

DURATION: 6+ months with extensions

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

*performance tuning

*bi reporting experience

*logi xml

*Microsoft Analysis

*MDX experience huge plus

Bridgepoint Consulting a global IT consultancy and staff augmentation practice located in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Senior MSSQL Server Tech Lead for a direct end client in the Greater Boston, MA market for a 6 plus month contract opportunity. The selected consultant will have experience managing teams consisting of 4 or more technical developers (including subordinates with development backgrounds.) Additionally they will possess experience MS Analysis and knowledge of eGate. The applicant must also have very strong relational database development experience especially MS SQLServer and SQL Tuning. Secondly knowledge of Oracle (PLSQL, packages, procedures, tuning) as well as MS Access and writing and executing UNIX shell scripts and managing job 

scheduling. 

Skills/Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in IS, computer science or related field preferred 

Minimum 8 years IT development experience including software development lifecycle & methodologies spanning development, 

testing, release and deployment management. 

Experience with BI Reporting highly desired 

Strong Relational Database development experience with MS SQLServer, & MS Access, Oracle (PLSQL, packages, procedures, 

tuning) 

Ability to write & execute UNIX shell scripts & manage job scheduling
