Job Description:
As part of db2 LUW team, will be accountable for database administration, design, build and tune mission critical DB2 UDB ESE and DPF environments. Help DB2 LUW team in providing better technical solution for United Health in general and our customer in particular.

Required Skills
-6+ years of db2 UDB database administration experience
-3+ years of strong UNIX background
-3+ years of scripting experience
-Strong business/technology decision-making skills
-Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

-Relevant Bachelors Degree such as Computer Science, Math, Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or Statistics, or equivalent experience
-3+ years of Sr. DB2 LUW administrator with strong AIX/zLinux background
-Understand the systems development process and have a solid understanding of business processes
-Proven analytic skills and strong judgment, Strong analytical and communication skills; works effectively with others
-Strong judgment, and ability to work effectively with team/others and share knowledge to ensure team success
-Demonstrated diagnostic skills
-Excellent communication skills
