Title: Senior iPhone Developer
Duration: 4 months
Location: Brooklyn, 2 MetroTech Center, New York

Minimum Requirements:

We require Senior iPhone Developer with the following responsibilities:  Participatein development of mobile application design; Collaborate with business analyst and mobile UX designer determine detailed tasks Provide required iPhone application development and support for existing iPhone apps Assist deploying iPhone application to the iTunes App Store Work with other technical leads to determine the system integration design Prepare documentation such as but not limited to: Technical Design, Run-Book, Security Accreditation, Application Setup and Deployment Instructions Communicate risks and issues to project and technical management teams Work with testing team to find and resolve defects Must have clear understanding of differences between desktop/web development and mobile development Must have experience using SOAP or REST web services Must have delivered at least 3 mobile applications Must have strong experience in managing the constraints in mobile applications such as: optimizing speed and efficiency with storage, memory use, power management, battery usage, etc. The resource will be responsible for the following deliverables: Application source code Automated Unit test suite demonstrating that delivered source code meets functional and non-functional requirements, where applicable. Documentation such as but not limited to: Technical Design, Run-Book, Security Accreditation, and Application Setup Instructions.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE A minimum of 8 years of experience development for large-scale enterprise web applications including at least 3 years of native iPhone development; Must have strong experience integrating iPhone applications with facebook.com, twitter.com and other social networking platforms Must be passionate and enthusiastic about iOS development At least 3 years of experience developing integrating native iOS applications with the backend J2EE/.NET systems via web services. Strong experience in Java/.Net/Php development; Strong knowledge of XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD); Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL server or MySQL; Strong Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux; Ability to produce technical documentation; Strong experience working with HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX Excellent oral and written communication skills are required; Solid knowledge of mobile testing tools and techniques; Experience developing using Agile principals and methodologies

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work.  Provide the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the reference as well as a brief description of the work performed.
