We are looking for a strong business analyst with specific experience working with in the Department of Motor vehicles.
This candidate will need to have licensing experience and any domain knowledge of license suspensions would be a huge plus.
Candidate must have 3-5 years of business analyst skills, meeting with end users, writing specifications and working well in a team environment.
The Business Analyst will meet with business customers, gather business requirements, develop business documentation, system test, support QA testing, and assist in implementation of business/technical solutions through application of the appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
The Business Analyst will interact with business representatives to gain an understanding of the business environment and gather requirements, act as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support groups to identify business process and product requirements, research, identify, and design solutions to business problems.
The Business Analyst will analyze business and user needs, and document specifications to meet those needs, conduct user testing to ensure proper functionality prior to implementation, as well as consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. This position will also develop and refine internal processes and standards and refine and re-engineer business processes where needed. This position will also mentor other Business Analysts on the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop Use Cases and map to Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Technical Design Documents (TD)
2. Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), System Test Plans (STP) and User Accepted Testing (UAT) using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Qualifications:
1. Working knowledge of IIBA principals (BABOK certification preferred); CBAP highly preferred
2. Have written a minimum of 6 BRD/FSD/STP as an individual contributor
3. Knowledge of UML Modeling
4. Previous experience working in a SOA environment with SOA governance model
5. Exposure to Business Process Analysis (Process Service Matrix) and Mapping with SOA
6. Minimum of 7 years of experience
7. Experience prototyping interactive tools - not static
8. Previous experience working with Department of Motor Vehicles licensing applications and knowledge of suspensions preferred.
