Sr. Service Engineer:
New York and multiple locations
Rates-$50/hr on C2C OR 1099
General Skills:
1. Ideal candidate should have understanding/experience on Large/Complex Applications Support
2. Understanding of ITIL Process [ ITIL Foundation Certification is a Plus]
3. Should be capable of understanding the Application Architecture and its external and internal dependencies and associated environments
4. Should be able to understand Incident, Release, Change Management and Availability Management
5. Should independently drive Change requests, Able to understand the change and document the standard Operating procedures, attend CAB meetings.
6. Should drive all the incident tickets successfully
7. Able to understand stake holder expectations, while setting up their expectation levels to existing environment constraints.
8. Drive Service Improvements while identifying gaps
9. Automate the routine Maintenance Tasks
10. Should have experience on handling on servers across different Geographic Locations/Data centers and ability to perform Capacity Expansion for existing service.
11. Handling down time situations and customer expectations
Technical Skills:
1. 4 + Years of Knowledge IIS Administration, Troubleshooting and problem solving
2. Working Experience in Windows Azure, SQL Azure platform
3. Basic understanding on SQL Server Administration and Replication technologies in SQL Server
4. Power Shell scripting
