We are looking for a Senior UI Java Developer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a 3-6 months based in Cupertino/Sunnyvale, CA
Position: Senior UI Java Developer
Locations: Cupertino/Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 3-6 months Contract
Experience: 8+ years (relevant years of experience)
Job Description:
• Strong programming expertise in Java, J2EE ( EJBs, servlets, JSP, struts )and XML technologies.
• Expertise in UI screen design and wire frames, JSP/Servlets, Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX
• Experience with XSL, XPath. Experience with Apache Velocity a plus.
• Hands on experience in publishing and consuming Web Services via SOA methodologies would be a plus.
• Experience with Oracle relational databases is a must, this would include designing schemes, writing DML queries and query performance analysis.
• Should have a strong UNIX background. Also needs to be comfortable writing Unix scripts. Perl will be a plus.
• Should be able to performance tune applications and assist team members by reviewing code and provide suggestions to developers.
• Exposure to Unix and Mac OS X is desired.
Soft Skills Required:
• Able to handle Pressure with ease.
• Able to work with multiple groups.
• Good and Clear communication skills (both Written and Verbal)
• Able to articulate and understand the requirements
• Strong communication skills including all stake holders (Client Business, client IT, internal onsite/offshore)
