Job Title   : Firmware Tester

Location   : Milwaukee, WI

Duration   : 12+ Months

 

Job Description

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science degree

2. Minimum two years' experience within in a control engineering or building efficiency background (This is characterized by application of systems using building automation and other competitive controls)

3. Experience with Shell Scripting, Mathlab, and SaaS Experience a plus

4. Experience with testing applications in a hosted environment

5. Able to understand debugging beyond screen capturing errors and able to facilitate problem solving with developers.

6. Strong manual testing proficiency- software quality assurance testing techniques, methodologies and best practices – model based test design, test automation, and test design patterns

7. Excellent Verbal and Written communication.

8. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products

 

Desired Qualifications

1. Communications, networking or IT Related, or Systems Integration either in Building Automation or Plant Automation experience is preferred.

2. Practical experience in performing testing on large projects in a systematic approach in such areas as Load, Stress, Reliability, Compatibility, and Performance.

3. Experience with Agile or Scrum a plus

4. Comfortable with loading firmware onto a Hardware Device
