POSITION

.Net Developer

Location:  Springfield, IL

Duration:  4 months possibly longer

 

Job Description/Task:

 

Assist department staff in the areas of website design and development.   

 

Highlights:

 

Requested Program Modifications

•             Implementing requested/documented modifications in a .NET 4.0 platform utilizing C#.

•             Modifying SQL Server 2008 Data Base per the documented modifications

•             Create and/or modify reports per the documented requests.

 

Deliverables:

•             Test Site that contains all the requested modifications

•             SQL Server 2008 Database with requested modifications

•             Updated information architecture/documentation

•             Reports per the requested modifications

•             Production website that contains all the above

 

Required Skills:

·         Past experience creating websites for Government Agencies is desired

·         3-5 years programming experience with .NET, C# utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio

·         3 to 5 years of experience SQL Server Administration

·         1 to 3 years of experience with Crystal Reports and/or SSRS (desired)

·         Bachelors' degree or comparable experience

·         This developer must have strong, demonstrated expertise in building websites on a .NET 4.0 Platform interfacing with SQL Server 2008 or higher.

·         Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as this position will be required to document and communicate with management, team members and end-users.

·         Strong Documentation Skills
