| Sterling is looking for a Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Programmer Analyst to join our team to develop and support technologies fueling the Customer Care team of the #1 Retail Jewelry Company in the United States. Our team plans and creates custom-built applications / web services, integrates vended products and provides the support required to provide our customers with the best possible experience. Sterling's IT Department provides a professional and experienced atmosphere in a casual, enjoyable work environment. About the Position: This position is for those who are capable of creating the most complex programs in development projects as well as maintaining support for existing solutions. Communication skills are also important as those filling this role are responsible for translating business requirements into effective and efficient systems for small stand-alone projects as well as sub-systems for enterprise software; ability to create detail design documentation with system specifications and architecture diagrams are also needed. Applicants should expect to complete designs, write code, design and perform unit and system testing, integrate multiple vended products, assist the business in training and implementation, provide systems support, and any additional tasks that are assigned by a Project Manager or Lead. Qualifications: Our team supports a myriad of systems, so we are looking for those possessing a high competency with 5+ years experience in the majority of the following technologies and a willingness to learn the remaining skills: Oracle 11g, Oracle 12 · PL/SQL · Web Services & Client/Server Systems – Creation / Deployment / Maintenance in a multi-vendor environment · Use of Object Oriented & Architectural Design Principals / UML Modeling · Solid understanding of multiple operating systems - LINUX / Windows / HP-UNIX |
