Job Title:         Technical Lead

Location:         Washington DC

Duration:         12 Months

 

Roles and Responsibility

·         Responsible for the overall planning, design and implementation of the solution

·         Understand functional and non-functional requirements and define the overall solution design

·         Have a solid understanding of ePerformance both at the functional and technical level.

·         Enhance the ePerformance model to deliver the customized solution..

·         Supervise the preparation of the required CMM documentation, when applicable (Impact Analysis and Design, Test Cases etc.)

·         Prepare weekly status reports highlighting issues and constraints that would impact timely delivery of work program items.

·         Communicate proactively with other team members and team leads.

·         Produce estimation of work plans, test plans and implementation plans.

·         Interact with clients to gather and specify requirement.

·         Ensure compliance of the solution with Enterprise Architecture standards

·         Plan and manage configuration management / version control of  the technical modules

·         Suggest and incorporate industry best practices

·         Responsible for completeness and accuracy of the technical documentation (refer section 4 of Annex B)

·         Coordinate with the Business Analyst, data modeler and developers through the project life cycle

·         Validate and conform compliance of the system with  the final solution architecture and design.

 

Skills Needed

·         Minimum 5-7 years of experience in planning, design and implementation of ePerformance

·         Strong understanding of  SDLC (Waterfall and Agile)

·         Excellent Communication skills (including technical documentation)

·         Solid work experience and understanding of ePerformance at the technical level.   Must understand the technical dependencies on other modules.

·         Excellent knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Engine, CI, SQRs, PeopleSoft Workflow.  Oracle PL/SQL and Java Programming skills a plus.

·         Ability to lead a team of technical experts and be able to extend a hand where needed.

·         Abiliity to translate the functional requirements to sound technical solutions.

·         Be disciplined and detail oriented.

·         Conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving ability.

Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment to support other technical team members as needed.
