Position :- Business Analyst ( Technical )
Duration :- 12 months
Location :- Sacramento, CA.
Looking for a Technical Business Analyst that can assist with the technical support of the Product System, including analysis, issue resolution and identifying system design requirements.
Essential Functions
Support efforts to further the integration of the Product System with other systems company-wide.
Assist with providing product model support to personnel engaged in making business process and/or system changes.
Analyze data, identify process requirements/needs, identify problems, provide technical advice, and develop logical solutions to problems.
Apply advanced analysis skills in the development of business process models, procedures and systems.
Acts as subject matter expert to provide business and technical requirements for process improvements and system enhancements.
Reviews technical design deliverables to ensure business objectives are reached.
Assists with user acceptance testing, defect reporting and resolution. Provides post implementation support, such as, problem resolution and change management.
Effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Concepts and the Universal Modeling Language (UML)
Understanding and use of standard database design principles and terminology and the use of SQL
Working knowledge of SOA concepts and Web Services (SOAP and REST-based) and associated mechanisms (messaging protocols, WSDL, etc.)
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and process improvement skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
